RAPID Neurofascial Reset
RAPID NeuroFascial Reset is an evidence-based manual therapy technique designed to treat both acute and chronic pain, as well as mobility restrictions. By providing targeted sensory input to connective tissues, RAPID NFR therapists use precise manual therapy techniques combined with guided movement patterns to alleviate pain, restore range of motion, reduce inflammation, and enhance proprioception.
RAPID NFR addresses residual effects of past injuries—known as “chronic artifacts of inflammation”—which often remain in tissues post-healing and can heighten nervous system sensitivity, leading to persistent pain and dysfunction. This technique also considers the biopsychosocial aspects of pain, supporting clients in achieving pain-free movement and enhanced quality of life.
Through RAPID NFR, overstimulated nervous system responses are down-regulated, releasing tissue tension and increasing circulation to flush out lingering inflammatory byproducts. This approach decreases nervous system sensitivity, thereby reducing pain. By targeting highly responsive nerve fibers, RAPID NFR enables therapists to effectively “reset” muscle tone, tension, and pain, promoting pain relief and better mobility.
RAPID NFR is effective for treating a wide range of complex musculoskeletal conditions, including:
Sciatica
Plantar fasciitis
Shin splints,
Bursitis
Frozen shoulder
Baker’s cysts
Back, shoulder, neck, knee or hip pain
Migraines
TMJ dysfunction
Vertigo
Tinnitus
Arthritis
Golfer’s and tennis elbow
and many more!
*Please note: If you can, please come in or bring comfortable, moveable closing for RAPID-NFR appointments as these treatments are done clothed. A t-shirt, sweatpants and/or yoga pants are great.
